We chose to switch the MASH packaging from our proprietary plastic bottles to slim cans for sustainability purposes. Unlike plastic bottles, aluminum cans are widely recognized as a sustainable packaging option. They can be recycled repeatedly without losing their quality, and they have a lower overall environmental impact. In fact, aluminum cans can be recycled and back on store shelves in as little as 60 days, making them an excellent choice for a more eco-friendly packaging solution. Moreover, aluminum cans offer several additional benefits for our consumers. They provide better protection against light and oxygen, ensuring the freshness and quality of our beverages for a longer period. Aluminum cans are also lighter and more portable, making them convenient for on-the-go enjoyment.
Through extensive research, development, and feedback from our customers, we identified an opportunity to enhance the taste profile of our beverages while also simplifying the ingredients list launching in June 2023.
